A free, open archive of evidence-based health information. Just data, not advice.
openLifetime is a free, open archive of science-backed guides covering supplements, food-safety awareness, and home devices. Every claim links to a real, verified source — peer-reviewed trials on PubMed or primary data from FDA, EPA, WHO, and similar bodies. It is an index of evidence, not a medical service.
This is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing here replaces a conversation with a qualified clinician who knows your history. We describe what studies found; we do not tell you what to take, how much, or whether it is right for you.
No products sold. There is nothing to buy here — no affiliate links, no sponsorships, no brand recommendations. Device and supplement entries name generic product types only.
No guessed doses. When no realistic safe dose is established in the literature, entries are marked "Pending" rather than guessed.
No fabricated citations. Every study link is verified to resolve to the article it claims to be.
Evidence over marketing. Framing stays neutral — "shown to do X in study Y" — never promotional copy.
Each entry passes an evidence screen before it is listed: it must have at least one verifiable, citable source backing its central claim. Entries are grouped into tiers by the strength and relevance of that evidence to healthy aging. Where the literature is thin or conflicting, that is stated plainly rather than smoothed over.
Bibliographic metadata is drawn from OpenAlex, a fully open catalog of scholarly papers. Study links point to the primary record (typically PubMed) so you can read the source yourself.
If you spot an error, a broken link, or a claim that needs a better source, please flag it through the project's public repository. Corrections are reviewed against the cited evidence before they land.
